For Abbotsford Regional Hospital
I was at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for general daycare. Nurse Linda [took] care of me and she was absolutely fabulous. Thank you!
For the Graduated Care Clinic, Chilliwack General Hospital
My husband was referred by Dr. Mark Ballard to attend the Graduated Care Clinic to get his blood pressure under control.
My husband’s blood pressure has finally, after almost 30 years, gotten under control. The change is incredible. By seeing Dr. Ballard, my husband’s medications were adjusted daily and his blood pressure lowered. Dr. Ballard has made a further adjustment in hopes of lowering it even more.
The opportunity to have a service such as this is absolutely lifesaving. This kind of innovation and dedication from specialists like Dr. Ballard, is exactly what people need … my husband will now have a better quality of life, and a longer life.
For Peace Arch Hospital
I was sent to Peace Arch Hospital for a colonoscopy and was truly terrified. I was booked in by Kim in the Day Surgery. She was amazing. I wanted to cancel until Kim came to prepare me and all my fears melted away. She is such a caring and understanding person. I was truly blessed to have her to help me through a difficult time. Thanks Kim – you rock and you are just what we need in Medicine. I hope you never retire or at least not until you train someone just like you.
For Community Respiratory Services, Delta
I was fortunate enough to have [Registered Respiratory Therapist] Mike at my house to perform my regular home oxygen assessment. It was such a pleasure to have Mike here. He allowed my daughter to attend the session as well and continually ensured he used our names. He explained everything in layman’s terms so I could understand. He allowed us to ask many questions and drew little diagrams so we understood. He was just a pleasure to have.
For Royal Columbian Hospital
