This team provides nursing, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy services to school-aged children in Burnaby in their home, school, and community who have a physical disability, moderate to severe developmental disability or complex medical needs.

The Child Services Resources Team assists with the integration of children with special needs into the school system. They provide consultation during the intake process, transition planning, and the development of Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals. Health care plans are developed for safety, to maximize mobility and to foster independence.

The Child Services Resources Team also provides education and training to education assistants, school staff, and parents as well as clarifying medical information.
